Is it just me or is one of those soldiers wearing Adidas shoes (or cheap knock-offs) at 3:09?

Didn't know they had those in the Soviet army.

You know what, I just read about that in a book the other day and that's absolutely correct. The boots Soviet troops wore were so inadequate that commanders actually gave them sneakers whenever they could.

Kudos to the filmmakers for this level of authenticity.
