It has floors all the way up. We were building it at the time. He is talking about how to make the stairs so that they get out on the right place on each floor. I might put up a server with the map or post the file eventually. We placed all of the pieces manually, and built it first with a frame of the building, then we added windows, floors, stairs, rooms.
If you think I used a map editor, please consider this: Omen, in its state when the video was made, was essentially ms-paint for minecraft. If you want to imagine how much more complicated it would have been to make this in a map editor, go into ms-paint, choose the 1 pixel wide pencil, and draw 400 individual pictures of the cross-section layers via clicking pixel-by-pixel, all being aligned with the last image, and to the exact size and layout of the building here.

Minecraft should have a moon realm. You'd have to collect a lot of materials to build a rocket and travel there. Notch would have to put in a new element oil for fuel and you could power it by gathering electricity from lightning or a hydroelectric dam. The minerals on the moon would have to be really special though and carry a huge roll on the Minecraft earth. If anyone else thinks this is a good idea thumbs up the comment and copy and paste it to many other Minecraft videos. :D:D
