Outside the KOP Stand, Shank's statue, museum and shop

A view from outside Anfield on the south-west side of the ground known as the KOP stand. The KOP are the 12th man of the Liverpool FC team. A statue of the late great scottish manager Bill Shankly, created from bronze by Liverpool artist Tom Murphy, was unveiled at the new Visitor's Center on December 4th, 1997. Behind the Statue is the Liverpool FC museum which tells the story of the rise of the team to be the most successful English team of all time (you can also take a stadium tour too).
