One of the great Chicago bluesmen ever. Whenever I saw him, I felt sorry for his guitar, the way he would 'tear it up'! Always intense, always great! I had a picture of him at a station I worked at, and when interviewing the great Kim Simmonds of Savory Brown, Mr. Simmonds walked into the studio, saw the picture and simplay and quietly said: "the 'great' Son Seals". That blew me away, and I will always remember that. Son Seals, the epitome of a bluesman! Time to play some more now.
When is this from? Man I miss being able to see him live - saw him a few times at the Jazzhaus in Lawrence Kansas back in the early 1980's. What great shows! Danced our asses off.
got to see a few times here in Dallas !!!
