I can relate to everything in this song. I didn't understand it when I was little but now that I'm 25 & have two kids & husband. I get it. Its my life. It gives me hope.

The high drama of being a working mother, wife, and student. Looks like way too much work to me.

I'm only 27 and i can totally relate, i've been married seven years with two kids a full time job and recently went back to school and its hard. This video make me feel a little more hopeful for tomorrow.

@lindalucys2004 - how young... the first time I heard this song I was eleven years old and it touched my heart and soul... the second time I was 15 years old... and now that I'm 28 years old I can actually relate to it very much as a mom and college student... no husbands anymore though! great song indeed!

@valarie966 I think originally it was, but I think she's wanting it to be more "family" oriented now.

@auburnboy141 I was just going to ask whether or not that was Huey Lewis! Thanks!
Young people might not be able to relate to the feeling of anger & frustration in this video from 1991.
This is BEFORE the advent of the commonplace PC in the home... I'm sure she had typed the paper on a typewriter, and once it had something spilled on it by the kids playing around in the kitchen, it felt like the end of the world when the 1 copy of her paper was soaked. So touching seeing her loving & supportive husband using the blow dryer to "fix" it... so sweet!

This song reminds me of my mom. She was 22 when I was born, and now I'm eighteen and she'll be graduating from college this winter. ♥
