In 1998, VH-1 asked many of music's top artists to name their choices for the greatest artists in Rock 'n Roll and here's who they came up with. Nirvana came in at #42 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Rock & Roll.

  • No matter what comes out, no matter what people say, no matter how old it gets, they saved my life, and they will always be number one to me.

  • @nonconformist20 this program was released in 1998 or something like that. their greatness, importance, influence, etc. has needed some time to become as appreciated as it deserves to be.
