Buffalo, NY— Jan. 4, 2008—Ideal Shield partnered up with Off the Wall Products to manufacture this anti-terrorism bollard which successfully passed
K12 vehicle crash testing and will be certified K12, L3. In a dramatic crash, the 24 ft. wide, 5-
post stationary bollard proved that it can sustain the impact of a 15,000 lb. truck traveling at 50
mph. Stringent US State Department criteria must be met before anti-terrorism products are
designated to the highest-level certification of K12. The second designation, L3, is also the most
desirable, meaning any vehicle penetration is less than 3 ft.
