M5board, I love the videos. I would LOVE to see more 335 Vs M3 races. Do you have any videos with a tuned 335 w/ Juice Box3? Would love to see how a JB3 would go up against Vinshu or maybe an M3. Personally I own a 2009 335i xdrive coupe, completely stock and I love it. In the spring, I will likely get a Dinan Stage 2 software upgrade. On the Dinan website, it will increase my boost to 13.2 from 8.8 and give me around 384 hp and 421 lb ft. I wonder if this type of upgrade can keep up with a JB3. Dinan provides a 4 year/ 40,000 km warranty but costs $2900 installed. I am hesitant to go with a piggy back system. Dinan also has a really nice CAI.

E 92 M3s are tight.

So far I have a Space Gray E92 335i + JB+ (set at 50/100%) running on 91 octane...putting out 368.4hp/390.1tq on stupid Potenza run flat tires...and I couldn't be happier! :D

On the streets/DD, the 335i >>> M3 in my biased opinion.

The M3 is the better sports car, clearly, but not $15-20k better. I would feel shitty putting commuter miles on it!

I still wished my 335i had the looks of its bigger brother, the E92 M3, though. Especially those wheel flares and those quad exhausts.

335i + JB3 ($379) + Methanol ($300-500) + Downpipes ($500-1K) + BMS DCI ($150) + FMIC ($500-1K) + PS2's or better tires ($1.2k-1.5k) + Light weight Rims ($2k) + Light Weight Exhaust ($1.5-2K) + Super Light Weight Battery ($200) + KW3 Coilovers ($2.7K) + Quiffe LSD ($1.7k)... = $12.6k...but you will be walking M6/M5's let alone M3's. +Turbo upgrades ($2k-5k), Engine-rebuilds w/ forged internals ($2-5k), some weight shedding (Free, but luxuries lost) and you will have a REAL race car

At every rpm from 0-6,500 the stock 335i makes more hp than the M3. That's physics:

hp = rpm x tq / 5252

I'm guessing you are one of the dorks who drives your M3 at 7,000rpm in traffic at 15mph. If I look closely I can see your lips move as you go vroom vroom. Bwahahah! What a plonker.

I just tracked my vishnu 335i (stock 335i with less than $2k of mods) vs my buddy's M3 with DCT. I was consistently doing 0-100 in mid/upper 7's. he never broke 10 secs even with his fancy launch control and double clutch gearbox. I am making about 530hp at the crank to his 414hp. With another $800 of mods I could be making over 600hp. But I don't need to because I already leave limp-dicks like you in the dust. Ha! Ha! Ha!

If you knew anything about engineering you would know that the stock 335 makes more hp than the M3 at every rpm from 0-6,500. @kay19833 to mod an m3 you need to spend about 15000 to get a good gain. to mod the 335i you just add a 300 euro chip and 200 euro downpipes and bye bye overpriced m3.
