  • Tommy Roe - Dizzy - 45 RPM Original Hot Mono Mix

  • @nealadams70 For the record, I was a younger boy when Kurt Russell was already a teen. But I had such a crush on him myself.

And I have heard he's a nice guy, not stuck up about his looks. Such persons are the truly beautiful--inside and out.

  • @nealadams70 I think it is almost a crime that physically beautiful people are subjected to the indignities of growing older, should be allowed to stay young & pretty forever, as a living, breathing work of art.

Of course, for those who are beautiful on the outside, but rotten and nasty people on the inside, who treat persons less good-looking than themselves horribly, some would call aging "justice."

  • @nealadams70 But, in his youth, Russell was, to paraphrase Jerry Stiller as "Arthur Spooner" (on the TV series "King Of Queens," in a quote about former New York Mayor John V. Lindsay), "very easy on the eye."

In fact, I can still picture Kurt as the jungle boy in that loincloth on an episode of "Gilligan's Island." He had the most beautiful eyes, and a great smile.

  • @nealadams70 How old was Mr. Connors at the time you were in third grade?

And how long ago was this?

Because I would say Kurt Russell has been beyond his physical prime about 45-50 years now.

  • @Anglynn74 In fact, if this recording is any indcation, Russell's singing is nearly as good as his acting. And, from what I have heard and read, Russell was also a pretty fair baseball player who almost made the Major Leagues.

  • @Anglynn74 You're correct.

Typically, these "Golden Throats" songs are covers of rock &roll songs by actors who may not sing all that well, sometimes talking their way through a song's lyrics. But this does sound an awful lot like the Tommy Roe original of this song, Kurt Russell singing very decently.

  • this actually sounds pretty good, almost exactly like the original

  • @mierpaul Someone should cut a video.

  • This is good, better than I thought it would be
