  • @CubeLuda First off, you don't start counting until you see the "Starting Windows" screen and I counted about 22 seconds. System checks before that will always take as much rime no matter that setup you have.

    I have two 6gb/sec hard drives in Raid 0 which give me a 35 second startup time. It was 37 until I overclocked my CPU. It's not just the hard drives that affect the results.

  • @CubeLuda His BIOS is slow, that has nothing to do with the HDD's

  • Hmm. 33 seconds for loading screen. I was expecting better from 3 HDD's in RAID0. (should run roughly 80% faster.) I was planning on going raid, but this looks like it has no effect.
