@clairannette i get your point, but for god's sake, "mozart non-stop every day" is very bad and treacherous metaphor. i'm sure you mean to say, "more variety with more immediacy/immediate appeal for uneducated masses. well, first we need to get knowledgeable radio anchor by raising their salary. mozart and rachmaninoff are all great composer who wrote great music, however different they are.

If the radio was playing stuff like this instead of Mozart non-stop every day, we might have a broader view of all that is interesting in classical music. Thank you for this brilliant post by a brilliant pianist! Olga is incredibly talented.
