  • rogerrubin: It is already on CD - this recording obviously doesn't do her justice, however hearing her live is AMAZING.....even compared to CD!

  • Singing in a bar does not justice to the artists or the song...take this into a studio and do it the right way and it will be a Hit 4u

  • Excellent! Love to hear this where it should be - in front of thousands!

  • Just saw her at Gaithersburg Day and became an instant fan. Great singer, good personality and fantastic band....... will go to see them on a regular basis and already downloaded her iTunes songs.

  • This amzing vocalist/performer plays at this very place three miles up the street from me, every Sunday night for $5. Each time I go, I marvel at why I didn't have to spend $40 for a ticket to see her at some theatre. Witnessing her performances with as few as 10-15 other people can be incredibly surreal.

She closes each show with the most rousing rendition of Gimme Shelter you're ever likely to hear.

  • I LOVE Mary Ann and have had the honor of seeing her live a few times. What an amazing voice and great person as well!

  • Mary Ann's regular guitarist these days is Dan Hovey who, unless my eyes fail me, is performing, here. I think that the same is true for bassist is probably Anthony Setola.

  • Dear Mary Ann,

while others might outrage your range of being known outside the US, you still, after so many years, shine all over them with your amazing voice, and while so many so called artists never deserved to ge to well known, you are truly the best coming out of the US for a long time.

I only wish you the best, may you continue to let people be apart of your wonderful talent.

    Shine on!

  • This is among Mary Ann's finest songs. When I first listened to it on CD years ago, I thought that the disc was skipping ... but NO, she really does hold that note for that long... about 22 seconds on the CD. Mary Ann has amazing talent and is a lovely person too. See her if you can! And buy her discs... she needs the gas money. :-)

  • Flanagan's Harp & Fiddle in Bethesda, MD.

    Mary Ann Redmond Rocks.

Labor day for me, I want her signature.
