If this commune have desirable resources or geopolitical needs for outside capitalist class, they will do everything they can to out-compete this commune to have more control over commune's resources and so on. The dynamic of capitalism is right for private property, meaning, economic resource and free competition. If you are questioning "why would ]....] capitalism prevent you" when "you live on a commune and produce your own needs", you definitely don't understand capitalism.

"If you live on a commune and produce your own needs, why would you feel capitalism will prevent you"? Developing economy in isolated local commune itself is limiting because eventually you have to rely on outside sources. If this reliance increase, the value of those sources will also increase. This is how outside capitalist force will have upper hand in this relation where it will force the commune to reduce their democratic distribution for those outside sources.

U.S. currently have democrat mayors who are attacking the local unions which any dedicated Marxists defend. Not only are Democrats NOT Marxists, they don't even come remotely close to being leftists. Killing middle class doesn't improve anything about Marxism not to mention that both Republicans and Democrats have been doing so for decades. This because both parties support big capitals and corporate interests. In politic, that's the reflection of right-wing politic.
