n the remote village of Jarnawala, Pakistan, everything rotates around the love affairs of younger residents. Self-proclaimed 'ladies man', Nawaz, has just married his sheltered cousin. While he struggles to adapt to married life, former girlfriend, Mehnaz, runs from one controversial suitor to the next. When she decides to marry a man outside her caste, the scene is set for a family showdown. Funny and shocking, 'Punjabi Love Story' is a surprisingly frank look at love in a country ruled by caste and kinship.
