  • What's he trying to do there? find a custom css style to make it look like a c-64?

  • Well, unfortunately I think time has left the Amiga platform. There is no way a fly of a company can revive this. Even Commodore had problems keeping up with development back in the 90s. The AGA chipboard was not really as advanced as you would expect from an Amiga made nearly 10 years after its predecessor. I do not see how the platform would be able to bring anything fresh to the computer market. If it played the old games it would be cool, but I bet it wont have the atari joystick port.

  • Will you be able to play old Amiga games on it.

  • @jsuttonus

Will eventualy one day. And I believe its OS fault. Board is already avail at Varisys

just without XMOS. Takes time. Like e.g. CUSA products are more real.

Takes time at small community, but Hyperion-A-EON will at the end bare some fruits.

There are SAMs to play meanwhile ... See U later!

  • @vojinvidanovic79, beta testing is not finally done NOW. Beta testers still haven't received the boards they paid for back in October! This X1000 is starting to look very scammy.

  • @jsuttonus

I believe, first Rev was also for beta testing.

OK, so beta testing is finally done NOW.

Lets see time until last Rev 3 which should be consumer.

However, its not yet a Hoax, CPU is announced and beta testing is underway.

Other comparable product, new "Commodore USA Amiga" doesn`t have public specs

and beta testing. Takes time to grow.

SAM EP460 was publicly presented 2003-4 and out late 2010

  • @vojinvidanovic79, In the News section of A-eon website it says this: "AmigaOne X1000 Beta Testers should take delivery of their revision 2 Nemo motherboards during the first quarter of 2011" They wouldn't post that as news if the beta testers had received their boards yet.

  • CAN NOT WAIT

    Remember when computing was fun?

  • @jsuttonus

No, there is no such info (unless you are a beta tester). 14th November 2010 Beta testers were asked to proceed the planned payment. CPU is now revealed, so things will finally shape up 2011. I believe it`s update of OS4 that is late, and that is exactly why beta testing is needed. No realise date yet. Get your facts straight or indicate something else even from a forum source. You anyway sound too malicious towards big endavour of most powerful PowerPC desktop at this time.

  • @vojinvidanovic79 Beta testers HAVE NOT received boards as of Jan. 2011. A-eon even admits this on their website. Get your facts straight.
