National Pharmaceutical Council President Dan Leonard interviews Dr. Ron Loeppke, executive vice president of Alere Inc. and Co-Chairman of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Section on Health and Productivity, and Dr. Pamela Hymel, Corporate Medical Director of Integrated Health at Cisco Systems and the president of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, about the findings of a recent study published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine on health and productivity in the workplace.

According to the NPC-funded study, poor health among workers is far costlier to U.S. employers than they realize, impacting their profitability and undercutting the nation's overall productivity.
