Sounding a lot like a chiropractic adjustment, the Advanced Feature called the Spinal Bend remains one of my personal favorites! Powerful, flexible, and extremely robust this largely misunderstood feature deserves some special attention. Here you'll see two different uses of the Spinal Bend!

  • Again sorry. I have tried this many times. I have even simplified the solid to a straight box section. Each time though I get 'could not construct feature geometry' Why oh why don't ptc program the reason something wont work?

  • I know I know . . . The error messages are pretty weak . . . I will tell you tough that the Spinal Bend will bend just about any quilt or solid, just about ANY!! Look thought the video carefully and I'm sure you'll get it . . .

  • wich wildfire are using?

  • This is with WF5.0 but this functionality has been available since ~ 1995'ish . . .

  • Does anyone know if SW has a comparable feature? So far I've been able to get around the lack of VSS but now I find myself needing a spinal bend feature.

  • I got this working and it's an amazing tool but in regards to the turboscroll, I can't seem to shell the feature. When I check the troubleshooter it says "Highlighted surfaces are too curved to offset by a specified value." Any suggestions on how to fix this?
