Vintage Coca-Cola commercial, McDonalds, DBS, news and weather promos and more. Also listen for the KSTP announcer, you might hear him on KQRS.

This video was taped on January 28, 1985.

They were, I had a friend who couldn't get cable so they had one of those NASA dishes out back. It was great because NOTHING was scrambled so you could get the Playboy Channel for free, and because they got live network feeds you could watch tv news people scratching themselves and and picking their noses and bitching and swearing between 'official' broadcast minutes that got released over the air. The satelite signals you got were EXACTLY the same ones the networks used to keep up connection.

I actually remember a couple of those faces and commercials. :) I used to spend 2 or 3 weeks each summer at my aunt & uncle's house in Eagan when I was growing up.

I heard that tom anounced for this one show in chicago too but he did all of it from back home in MN. it was on KQ a couple of weeks ago
