It's nice to know that someone appreciates my upload. This video was from the Matt Monro Ultimate Collection DVD set. This set contains 3 DVDs, one of them is titled Go Go with Monro, this was where this video clip came from. I bought this DVD set from Amazon.co.uk recently.

I can remember the sixties very well, they were the best years of any ones life. Just before that came rock and roll which I thought was better than any music before that, and along came Matt Monro who was the rest singer this country as ever had, and never sung a bad song, they were all gems what he sang.

Dark suit, white shirt, narrow tie - it's sixties chic... Matt was his stylish self, this was what was considered smart or of course the Kray twins would have been similarly chic. Three years later Mat was singing On Days Like These for the Fabulous opening sequence of The Italian Job.

Matt Munro used to be a bus driver,looked like a villain and sang like an angel !!! I understand he was a great human being and devoted to his family, i have never heard a singer with a better voice or dictation, unsurpased as a ballad singer !
