I used to run a 48 Anglia with a 500 hp 327 in it with a power glide. Things can get real hairy in a short wheelbase car at high speed. I don't run short wheel base cars at the drags anymore. I've seen too many horrible things happen real fast with these type vehicles at high speed. And you have NO time to react. I run a 1964 Malibu with a blown 454 roller motor now. Much safer!

This was a bb 468 ci 9inch rear 32x14 wheels driver side in the back rite in the middle home made all sq. tube chassis ladder bar . Low 10s that day if he would had ran it with out the crazy crash 9.75 eazy. Funny how evertime we go racing everbody though we had a drag bike in a old milk truck then we pull out a vbug... Then we find a old skool bus lol..good old days rite there.. Thanks 4 the video
