Repeat Repeat was originally made for a side project consisting of George Banzon, Jordan Kennedy, and Nikki Mumolo called DSL. It was named Repeat Repeat because the song is basically the same couple of verses chopped up and repeated in different ways. The song refers to a couple breaking things off and splitting up. One party staying in the city, and one moving to the country. The song focuses on feelings of regret, remorse, and doubt after making a life decision of such a large scale.
