last month, my college got my a placement to a fab shop and this week started my apprenticeship as a fabricator. my first choice was to be a welder but there were no positions available. but i heard that i could still get into welding despite serving my time as a fabricator, could someone inform me on how i'd go about this. any replies would be greatly appreciated.

@TheDevenrocks There are more welders than welding jobs these days. You may have to travel to make some money.
