  • have anyone here tried filling the gap where the rubber seal is supposed to be(between the chrome bezel and the digitizer) with silicone or similar substances?

    Would like to hear any experiences people have had trying it on their iPhone and how it worked. Thanks : )

  • Thank you for the video. My son and I fixed his 3gs and then got a blank screen; he thought I didn't have the #3 cable in far enough, but #1 had apparently popped off so it was the LCD connection. Finally got it all together and working for $10 and a little time. :-)

  • feel free to use a hair dryer or soething similar if you cant get your hands on a heater like that :) just a tip ;) its what i did :P

  • @AdventureSoup No :) I've personally tried that. The internal connector is completely different. Therefore it won't fit
