It's the head-bopping/weird faces duo! A few tunes with my good friend Joseph Sobol, cittern player extraordinaire, in Jonesborough, Tennessee, Dec 08. The tunes are Maid of Mt. Cisco and The Skylark. A few mistakes on my part, but overall it seemed to come out well. Thanks to my brother Ezra (StagePerformer51 here on YouTube) for taking the video.

  • Beautiful! Can I buy your music on iTunes?! : )

  • Skylark!

  • I really like the cittern with the pipes. Nice sound, nice vibe goin' on, and great tune selection!

  • @TheCactusjack1, I cannot recall if I ever answered this. Sorry! To make a long story short, the uilleann pipes are very difficult and pretty complicated and take a lot of knowledge to maintain. Having said that, they are like any other instrument. If you have a good set and you put in the practice and you have a good teacher/peer group/support group and you just keep at it, you will get better. You just have to have the bug! Hope that helps. Please email me if you want to know more.
