John Lennon, of the Beatles, was shot in front of this building called The Dakota. It is adjacent to Central Park West. Strawberry Fields is a memorial to John Lennon and is located in Central Park, right across from The Dakota.

im kind of offended that they used the long and winding road in this because it was a paul song, not a john. he would be angry if he w this video.

Are there always flowers being left on the memorial? I'm visiting in a few weeks and I'm wondering if it would be weird if I left something there for John or if people always do that?

The guy walking over it is the guy that decorates it with the flowers. Even so, I don't think he should walk over it like that.

I was at the memorial two times. The first time there were flowers and the second time there were not. It all depends on whether or not the guy that decorates it is there that day.

I know, I'm mad he did that too. He is the guy that puts out all the flowers and photos on the Imagine circle ... so I guess he thinks he can step all over it. Not cool.
