Warlords, soldiers, and child laborers all toil over a mineral you've never even heard of. Coltan is a conflict mineral in nearly every cell phone, laptop, and electronic device. It's also tied to the deaths of over 5 million people in Congo since 1990.

    I like how original these documentaries are. Instead of just doing "Japan after the meltdown" or something generic like that they cover obscure topics, like bride kidnapping in Kyrgyzstan.

    Africa is 54 countries.how many countries are in conflict now?just some pocket countries like DRC, Somalia,Sudan mostly in East Africa.Again,you said the same when South Asia was in conflicts in the 1980s,that they will be in conflict forever.But it has changed.Data has shown that conflicts have reduced drastically in Africa.
