I have a 45 of this too, but there is freeware that allows you to cut the snap, crackle and pop to a minimum. I 'get' the authenticity. It has character; but the first 30 seconds are a real turn off. I love licorice with a bit less scratch than this.

With a clean needle and a clean record, you won't hear anything but the music. But a good song with scratches is better than none at all, or one with muffled audio or one that sounds like it's recorded from down the hall. .......The scratches/dust seem to smooth out after a while. Your recording is, sadly, one of the better quality recordings on youtube. So: thank you.
