  • That sudden break of tempo at 2.30 is so intoxicating, I never get bored of hearing it. I yearn for those days when jazz was an important part of TV coverage.

  • Go Jeff, You subtle driving force You! Play now agin with Dud for God In Heaven. God Bless

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I heard this song on the Nicola Conte DJ set "Live at Astro Jazz Lounge", but had no idea what the name of the song was or who was playing it since that set was never officially released. Through some detective work I discovered that it was probably the Dudley Moore Trio. Now, several years later I've finally found out what it is. Thank you!!!

  • This is truly a great piece of music. These guys are amazing . I wish I knew more about DM trio back in the day. I basically only know of him as an actor,a great actor, comedian. Not as a great jazz man. He played some in the movies and you knew he was very talented, but I had no idea he had these roots in jazz. Now I can't get enough. Thanks for posting this video.

  • Just lovely, beautiful main theme: that break to straight 4 at 2:30 is indeed splenders!

  • This is what cool is actually all about.. technical and musical genius.. AND it is so satisfying!!!

  • What a great track!...I'm gonna have to get a piece of this...Bloody fantastic!!!!

  • I cannot thank you enough for posting this - My fave DM tune. Fantastic. And Gruntol - yer spot on about 2:30. The nuance and simplicity of this arrangement are stunning. Happy Easter, Eggs to you.
