A slide show, with a mix of videos and pictures. We did a one-night snow camping trip to the Mt. Adams Recreation area in the in Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
It was our first actual snow-camping trip, and since we weren't sure how it would work out, we decided to keep the group at a minimal size of 3 people, in case we would run into trouble with weather, shelter or what not.
But everything turned out pretty good, and we feel more comfortable doing longer trips, with more people.
We parked at a snow park, and skied about 1,3 miles to the site, carrying some of the gear in our backpacks, and pulling the heavier gear on a sled that we had made,

It was a very good learning experience, and now we have a better idea as to what kind of gear we need for snow camping.
