TxDOT's North Tyler Maintenance Section responds to a one-vehicle wreck on Interstate 20 near Winona. The tractor-trailer hit the center median barrier hard enough to break out several reinforced concrete blocks more than two feet thick at the base. The driver survived the impact and was airlifted to a hospital.

  • Damnit Werner! lol A Werner Owner Operator at that.

  • Big rigs are dangerous. They weigh up to 40 times more than a car. Their immense weight tears up roads and highway safety barriers such as steel guardrails cannot stop them.

  • On a wreck that bad, that is a DOT reportable. Most companies will not hire some one that has a BAD wreck on the record.. Simple fender benders are normal wrecks, or Non-recordable.

  • I bet he'll slow his ass down next time.
