No doubt the Tebow hit was one of these...wow. So, how are you supposed to deal with the aftermath of this type of brain scrambling moment?

If there is a fencing response, the athlete should be kept out of play for a week or two. Two concussions in a short period of time can lead to severe brain edema (swelling) and death.
Of course, they should also have immediate medical care if they display this response.
