BoulderFest 2009 Promo in Downtown Boulder - August 21& 22

BoulderFest (Love the Local Celebration), Downtown Boulder's newest festival, is a celebration of all things Boulder! In its inaugural year, BoulderFest will bring together the best local bands, brews, wines and food for a wonderful end-of-summer event on the Pearl Street Mall.

BoulderFest will showcase great local talent like Rebecca Folsom, Big Bang Band, Nacho Men, Mohammed Alidu & The Bizung Family, Sundays at Vics and a super special band for an end-of-event dance party (well tell you who they are on Sunday, August 16 but not before then!), while featuring favorite brews from Boulder Beer, Upslope, Avery, Mountain Sun, BJs, Boulder Drafthouse and Twisted Pine. Local wineries Bookcliff Vineyards and Boulder Creek Winery will have a variety of wines available to sample along with food from Downtown's best eateries.

Well also celebrate Boulders film community with free screenings of a documentary of Boulders music history and selected shorts from the Boulder International Film Festival and The Shoot Out 24 Hour Filmmaking Festival Boulder! Some of your favorite local art galleries will highlight Boulder Artists and on Saturday Metromix will host a Scavenger Hunt throughout Downtown Boulder with fantastic prizes!
