MimoZine profiles master monster-maker Stefan Bucher.
Starting in November 2006, after years as a successful illustrator, Stefan began a personal experiment called the Daily Monster where he filmed himself blowing ink on paper, and using the resulting random blot as a starting point for creating a monster.
Over 200 monsters and 2.5 Million views later, this mad modifier has finally opened his doors and invited mimoZine in for a insightful talk and our very own Monster!
Stefans art is a new style of performance animation and completely addictive to watch. Look for his hands, ink, and Monsters as regular segments on the New Electric Company reboot premiering in 2009.
This video originally premiered in mimoZine, the 1st flashdrive published magazine only on mimobot. For new issues check out www.mimoco.com.
