This is a demo of how slow Opera Mini on the iPhone 4 (running iOS 4.1) is compared to an iPod touch second generation (also with iOS 4.1).
The newer, faster iPhone pales in comparison with the older touch. You can see it's more responsive, especially swiping.
Shot on my Canon Rebel T2i.

@sprosenb I'm afraid I'm not enjoying Opera Mini for iPhone anymore. I think I read on their blog that they're they've got an update pending. But the App Store approval process is slow sometimes.
I use it on the older iPod touch 2g, and it just *flies!*
Apple! Approve and update, please!

I'm having this exact same issue, have you been able to resolve in any fashion? I need opera since we don't have 3G here yet, but honestly the scrolling is so piss-poor it's not even worth it.

@Rallynumanair the light isn't optimal, yes. But since the iOS devices *emit* their own light, if I brightened the *whole* scene, the little screens would be way *overexposed.* I did some tests and this was one of the best settings.
So.... what do you think of the actual *content* of the video?
