Sonic the Hedgehog - Flight of Robotnik - Sonic 2 boss theme

I know, I know. This is about the 5th time I've remixed this piece. I just haven't felt that I've captured the theme in all it's evil glory yet, so here's another try. This time it stays quite true to the original and utilises the new CineBrass album to give some epic brass crazyness.

We'll just have to see how happy I am with this one and whether I'll attack it again at a future date :)

In regards to the full mp3, as much as I love hearing the flying strings, I fear you may have gone overboard with their usage. It starts to sound really fake after you hear it every two seconds.

My God,

I can easily say that I like this more than the original! The rhythm is dynamic and I like the brass' strenght and harmonies.

Also everything is really well balanced, sounds very clean and realistic.

As a Sonic Fan, I say the remix used on Sonic Fan Remix' Opening captures more the classic Robotnik's essence. As a Sonic Music Fan, I insist: You already surpassed Fumie Kumatani and are at the same level of Tomoya Ohtani, a little more and you'll reach Hideaki Kobayoshi.

I've watched your orchestra remixes and tought "Man, this is music.This is what I wanted to do, but I couldn't."

Then I got motivated, of course I'm a amateur on music stuff, never learned something in a school or with a tutor, but as I write I'm downloading FL Studio, and I think a lot of people tried to compose just because of your videos, so you damned composer, dont stop...

Whatever they're called - the flying strings or woodwind runs - those trill sounding effects - there's rly too many imo. Don't get me wrong, the rest is wonderful as are all your other remixes, but once I was hearing them, I couldn't avoid still hearing them - I couldn't turn off to them, and it made it seem exaggerated.
