@kkarpicki1 I apoligize for the dimiwit comment I thought you were just another little teen bastard trolling a music video like usual. You're right the solo is iconic but in my opinion as a guitar player he did a decent job, he hits the important parts then put he's own little jam into it which is fine, but you're right aside from the drums everything else is spot on which just makes the drum playing look odd.

@colombobogota the solo is iconic that it should be note for note...i mean hes got all the parts he just mixes it up but whatever...its not the greatest but im not a drummer. keep jam'in out though...you must have good taste if you appreciate RUSH. thanks for the dimwit comment

@5:23 some chicks had an orgasm...

I for one am glad Portnoy did his own thing with the solo since no one is Neil Peart to try to go note for note would just show that you can't match him and his playing
-
@kkarpicki1 he's not trying to do it note for note you dimwit he's just jamming it out its called a tribute... its not like that 5 minute drum solo is in the recording neil only does that live and he does it a little different every time
-
@kkarpicki1 Yes you're right. Now that I listen again, not all the parts seem right.
-
@MythicForce Have you heard other covers of pearts drum solo....They are note for note.....He is way off. He mixes up all the different parts of the solo and is not very good even when he gets it somewhat right. Most embarrassing!
Fuck you haters. This is an amazing.. let's call it.. Rendition. I'm sure Rush had nothing but great things to say about this. So shut the fuck up and enjoy the song because you'll never be able to pull this off. To everyone else. Happy Rockin'.
