  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH

  • Can you post a video on how to change the variable speed belt? I am having a hard time installing it on my Clausing 5911 12x36 Thank you sir.

  • Sorry-never done that.

  • Sir how about showing the same on a Logan lathe? I would sure like to see that

  • Might do that--I have a Logan.

  • Mr tubalcain,

Thanks for your video. I work as a research machnist at IUP and we have a Clausin lathe just like to one you are showing. I had to replace the master cylinder that provides the variable speed. It works ok but now I have another problem. As you may know, there are a gang of plates behind the motor that I assume work as the brake mechanism. however, when the lathe runs idle a direct speed, it make a continuous racket. do you have this problem too?

  • No, mine does not make a noise. I'm not familiar with the brake mechanism. Never had to work on it.

  • @mrpete222 Thank you.. This presentation is very important even to professionals but from different countries including Americans who has been naturalized.

Basically they can fly with that but when it comes to precise descriptive explanation they are just stack by their limited vocabulary.

So yes job well done. By the way I'm from NY.I have noticed that in that big concentration of people there is very little presence of people like yourself. I have not encounter even single one

I can see , watch and learn from my home. Very good teacher, not in a blazing hurry to show things. The videos are clear and sharp and watching things being done is all very good. I created a folder with your name on it so i can quickly find what i want to study. This is a gift to all , i truly appreciate. Thumbs up Every video!
