Go with a 250 dude, you're a big kid as it is n you're gonna grow fast at your age, I'm 18 but only 5'9 and 140 pounds, lol started on a 87 KX500 but now I'm rockin a 93 yz250, and how you said what you get you're getting stuck with? I'd definitely rather be stuck with the 250.

@Ashby005 that because you bought a honda, lol, but it's all relative, i just redid my top end in an afternoon myslef on my rm-z, but i envy my buddies 125 cr, until he had to do his bottom end, lol.

@yamaha2bangas maintence is cheaper though a whole engine rebuild has alot ess parts on a two stroke than a four

heyy i have a CRF 250 2008 and im thinking of buying a YZ 250 2009 because the 250f maintance is fukn huge and these look so much funner to ride but i dunno any ideass................................

@Ashby005 yea 250 2 strokes are definitly alot more fun to ride but i wouldnt say they are less maintainance then the fourstrokes,still worth the upgrade.

Im 14 5'10 and about 180lb should i go with a 125 or 250 but whitch ever one i get i am stuck with. i do have experiance on a 2 stroke and iv rode 125s and there not all that mean feeling.

@thaze95 beleive it or not this was my first bike and i got it a year ago when i was 15 so if you dont need it to race (just to have fun) definitly go a 250. you'll soon get used to the power.
