With proper technique and a small strap height adjustment you can get used to it. And its for extended range players. If you don't need a low f# don't use one. clarity in the low registers is important to properly voice (as best you can on a fretted instrument) chords. The 8 string is used to provide low end clarity. How you EQ your amp is vital, but less extreme when done with the extended range instruments. Its a continuation of the baritone idea. Don't limit yourself by never trying.

This guitar will be a big hit. They should sell about 4.

@XxicruffesionalxX Not really. A lot of people don't use that knob and remove it from their guitars (ex.Iommi, Van Halen, Jon Donais, myself)

@DeanGuitarsVideos Dime came back to Dean because of is friend Dean Zelinsky who is also no longer with this company. And dime used Washburn for the better part of his career.

I wish more guitars had the hipshot/hardtail bridge. It really is the superior bridgel style.

So you could reach the "Haha" frets
EMG808's on a 7 string. That's pretty metal.

for under 1200$ the best 7 string guitar? bullshit, I'd rather go with a Agile or something along those lines. Remember when the RC7s where 4000-7000$?
