what is the best time u can reach with mario on this track?

With Mario about 2 seconds slower driving in this style, i have broken into high 1'02"s. Princess and Yoshi can reach a high 1'04" and Toad / Koopa is around the 1'05" / 1'06" border for times of similar sharpness. Have you seen the time trial world rankings site? A great place to improve skills and lot of players around the world on all skill levels.

Thank you for your message. However firstly I have got 58.34 seconds World Record with NBT, it is on my videos list, done about a month ago. Please note also that this is the PAL version from europe which runs a couple seconds slower than NTSC. I see you are in USA also which carries the faster NTSC console. Try doing Time Trial mode, same technique as above you can make wel into 59 secs, or 1'04 with Toad.

World Record with Toad 150cc is 49 sec with shrooms, 52 sec no items.

@samititan1982 I tried to upload my time but I wasn't sure how to and I don't have any evidence to prove it except for a photo of the screen if that is enough.

I have always liked the MC1 track, I never really play on others except for GV1, my best on that is 1'09"25 which I don't think is as good as the 1'02"60 on MC1.

As for the 1'03"23 time, which isn't my best anymore, it was done on a PAL. I live in Australia and play on my old TV set which would not work with an NTSC system.

Actually 1'03"23 is an NTSC time, unless you got the milliseconds incorrect on that post? You might be playing on an american console or emulator with the US rom. In which case it would be a bit slower as a rank. If you have a PAL super nes console though please let me know

The corner jump i wouldnt do until you have 1'01"2x cos it literally saves 0.04 seconds, but at that 1'02" level you can easily lose more on each corner with the tiniest error. I do have a 1'01"05 WR video with no pipe hops. Are you on the time trial world ranking site for smk? If not you should definitely get on there as 1'02"60 is a very good time. Just had a look and it is in the Top 14 in Australia, you could definitely hit some good times on other tracks too.

Hello, thank you for the comment, your 1'01"98 even on NTSC is great. Do you have an NTSC console? You should give PAL a go if you are in the UK, we have a lot of competition there on the Time Trial World Rankings.
