HERETIC: The Legend of Akhenaten™

The upcoming film HERETIC: THE LEGEND OF AKHENATEN ™ (2014) is just one of many brilliant projects from my friend and talented screenwriter/producer Jaynaé Miller. Currently in preproduction stages, HERETIC: THE LEGEND OF AKHENATEN ™ will offer audiences a serious look into the ancient past with an intriguing storyline as well as a historically acurate visual appeal. In my opinion, the film industry simply has not taken the time to convey the true look and feel of ancient Egypt. So, this film should be a breath of fresh air in that regard and I am behind Ms. Miller 110%.

It says: "In a time of many religions." That would be correct for period we're dealing with and it is also not limited to Egypt. We're talking about the entire Near East at that time (many religions, many gods). But, even Egypt had different "cults" with different official "religious" ideologies within the empire... and yes, this is actually going to be a movie. One that will be cool to see, indeed. ^_-

What the historical record tells us is that Akhenaten was the first to introduce "one god" and one official religious doctrine in antiquity. We see that not long after his death, how the concept of "one god" has made a profound impact on not only the Near East but, the entire world...
