Silvertips Hockey Retrospective

Every year the local WHL hockey team hires me to put together a "Season Opener" highlight video. This year we decided to open it up with a historical review showcasing some of the great headlines from their first few seasons. I tapped the local newspaper for PDF's of the headlines I wanted, then did the animation in After Effects and finished up in Final Cut Pro. Even though the hockey team is only 7 years old, I wanted a cool vintage look to the retrospective. I used the following After Effects plug-ins: Zaxwerks 3D Flag, GenArts Sapphire Tint, Sapphire FilmDamage, Sapphire Blur, Sapphire Gradient and Sapphire EdgeBlur.
