@Zoarial92 Perhaps I should rephrase, in today's world it is virtually impossible to get big without having credentials. As for a "dull musical rock," Do understand that the past ten years of my life were dedicated to music, as performing was my life. Don't assume so much.

You literally have to have been living under a dull musical rock for the last 20 years to have not head of anything this guys done or been involved with

@Codeafo1 this is in fact complete bull. You can get a degree in the study of music but the majority of large artists don't have one, for example Dave grohl, one of the biggest names in rock and he knows nothing about music theory, he doesn't even know how to read music and he dropped out of high school. It is a large misconception that music should be treated in an academic manor like a science, while it does help, musics in college of performing arts for a reason... key word there is art.

@pugluv23 I live in Michigan. Michigan has three colleges known for their music departments; State, U of M, and Western Michigan (Western is the best statistically).

@pugluv23 Uhm yes? It's called Vocal Performance. It's in the college of performing arts. My college offers one of the best in the United States. Every singer that's famous has a degree in it because only then do the big producers take you seriously.

@pugluv23 No, I'm not lying at all. They're a good band when in the studio, but live... He can't even hit the right pitches let alone project. He's not trained to sing. He has potential if he ever wants to put the time in for some actual vocal lessons. And by lessons, I mean a degree. The reason why Amy Lee, Josh Groban, and Haley Williams are all so good is because they have a college degree in singing. They've spent time learning. ^_^
