  • God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, And whispered, "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts To prove to us, He only takes the best. • Hes donated millions of dollars to conservation and set up breeding and rehabilitation programmes all over Australia. Read Terri Irwins book about him and you'll realise that he was a legend and did so much for animals all over the world. RIP Steve - my hero

  • Steve was my childhood hero. He was bigger then superman to me. He was the best. I miss how enthusiastic he was for what he did and every thing he did. Animals are great. I saw the cutest little rabbit today and thought that must be a sign that steve is in heaven watch over us. We love you steve.
