I feel you Joyce. I've been doing taxes for 28 years now. I've had clients that come in and say "I'm going to put my neighbors children as dependents" and I'm like "What"? you mean to tell me that your such a loving person that you support your neighbors kids? and they actually say yes. Which I don't believe, My business is an honest business and I'll rather lose them and the fees as clients than doing something that tells me is wrong and illegal.

I have a feeling that they don't even send money to their nieces and nephews, but claim them on their taxes just to get the refunds. But in order to get the refund the children MUST live in the U.S. which most of them don't.

Wow this is why illegal immigrants are so rich. Driving mercedes and living in mansions. Honestly I dont beleive that a large amount of illegal immigrants are doing this. And I dont beleive that if he was scamming the country out of that much money he would be living in a trailer home.
