We went in the Dent to Dunk race on Merit roughly a 480 km race from http://www.hamiltonisland.com.au/ - hamilton island. Awesome trip down to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinchinbrook_Island - Hinchenbrook island then around dunk island to finish.
It took us about 22 hours to cover about 400kms
then we hit a wind hole and took about 8 hours to cover 40 kms while boats half the size saw us and sailed around the wind hole!! Sucked but was good ace overall.
