Grab a headlamp and some bug spray as Mannie explores a cliffside quarry along the towpath of the C&O Canal. Upon stepping back into the daylight pedal with him to an abandoned lime manufacturing operation. It's high adventure along our longest, narrowest, National Historical Park, the C&O Canal.

  • This is a wonderful region for someone interested in history,

  • Hello Mannie. I just exploring and learning about history also. I live near Honesdale,Pa. "The Birthplace of the American Railroad." D&H Canal took coal to the Hudson River. Also the Roebling Bridge at Lackawaxen. Much history.
