This was 1 of the 3 exercises I did today in my 12 minute leg routine . I started with the leg press at 505 lbs for 50 reps, then moved over to calf machine 210lbs for 250 reps, finishing with leg extension on hammer strength 40 lbs for 100 reps each leg. I was in a time crunch so i did a crazy 3 set routine that got me in and out of the gym barely being able to walk.

  • I notice your range of motion becomes smaller and smaller, is that ok with this high intensity training?

  • Yeah the range will get smaller throughout the rotuine if you do the style this exact way and only take 10-15 sec rest between your lock out. Try it out, key is finding the weight that is very tough yet manageable

  • You're right.  18" calves are the perfect size. haha, yeah, that's what I want to be at.

  • @peopleschamp2011 I try and mix heavy and high rep with calves. I do this style 1 time per week the other day i do moderate weight very slow reps
