@rlpc8 stretch the video length to double :D

You used some kind of a pixel motion filter in some software? Something similar is Motionflow in Sony LCD TVs. I have XR155E with a same function :-) In videorespond is my friend :-)

you an alcholic?

Nice! I have the Sanyo Xacti FH1 and I think the slow-motion effects are fantasic. I did laugh at 0:36 "We have lift off!"

The result of my slomo-tests are:
everything is not sharp. flickering.
What is wrong ?

Your slow motion video is fantasitic. I would like to learn from you how to set the fps from 30 down to 15. Thanks in advance

Dude, thats some awesome video, Tell me do you have any problem with the interlaced system(I mean 1080i), Have you taken any fast videos???? I wanna know if 30p is worth it or is 60i does the job?
how can you rec long like this?
xr520' slomo offer only 12sec (3sec x4 slow)
please give me a tip

you can record 12sec, but then I slowed it down to 15fps making last almost 30. With the smooth slow frame rate and 30fps you can easily slow it down and still maintain a fairly smooth picture

What is the resolution in slow-motion mode? Every other camera I've seen offers only low resolutions in slomo.

Not sure exactly what the res, pretty sure it was SD, definitley wasn't HD

Hello Brent
I just read your review in Videomaker magazine and I have a couple questions. In video mode,..what resolution is the stills?....(I'm hoping at least 7MP)...and also.....is the view finder telescoping or fixed?.........Great review by the way. Thanks

The stills in video mode are 8.3MP and yes the viewfinder pulls out and adjusts to a 45° angle. Hope that helps
