Recorded on July 13, 2009 at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. Collective Soul opens their show with a new song called "Welcome All Again." The night before they had supposedly been in a big bar fight because some jealous drunk redneck douche was mad his girlfriend was talking to Dean Roland and Gavin Degraw.

  • Clearest View of their opening new song. Not exactly a new groundbreaking sound that I was hoping for but it certainly rocks. Dont think this will be the radio hit they are hoping for though. The new song New Vibration is more impressive and better suited to get attention on the radio. Search for it on youtube. Hope they release it first.

  • "New Vibration" is from the previous CD "Afterwords." They opened with that song on the last tour. I think this song rocks...but probably won't be a big radio hit. I wish I had written it.

  • Collective Soul isn't a band that aims for awards, fame, fortune, big radio hits, etc like modern day bands. (Pick any emo-rock or pop group)

Collective Soul made it to the top when these bands were still learning math.

Collective Soul makes music because they love doing it; its a way of life for them. They love their fans, and they appreciate them more than many modern day bands do.

That said, new radio hit or not, this band has survived through the ages and still puts out incredible songs.

  • Don't why they arent more well known. They have written MANY #1 hits. Yet when you say collective soul to someone they say collective who?
